PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. (PCJL) held a Media Meet-up and joint breakfasting event on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Jakarta Office. The gathering, attended by dozens of journalists from various national and energy media outlets, served as a platform to share the company’s strategic plans and production targets for the 2026 period.

The event was attended by PetroChina management, including President Director Wang Lei and Senior Development Manager Wicaksono, who served as the primary speakers for the session. Several other representatives from the PetroChina management team were also in attendance.

During the session, President Director Wang Lei expressed his appreciation for the media’s ongoing support of PetroChina’s operations. It was highlighted that the 2026 targets are quite challenging, with the company aiming for a daily crude oil and condensate production of 11,670 barrels per day (BOPD) and gas sales, including LPG, of 143 million per day. Despite the challenges, PetroChina remains committed to its "Energy for the Nation" mission.

To achieve these milestones, Senior Development Manager Wicaksono explained that PetroChina plans to accelerate its exploration and drilling activities. The 2026 work program includes the drilling of 6 development wells. Additionally, the company is working on 6 exploration wells as part of its contract extension commitment through 2043. Other key strategies mentioned by management include a workover program targeting 11 wells to maintain production from existing sites using technologies like plunger lifts.

The event concluded with a Q&A session and a joint breakfasting to strengthen the relationship between PetroChina and the media community. The atmosphere remained professional yet warm as management and journalists engaged in informal discussions following the official presentation.
