The event was held at Sukorejo Ecotourism in Mekar Jaya, Betara district, Tanjung Jabung Barat regency, on Sunday, 5 September 2021.
Ade Jermawinsyah, a representative of the Tanjung Jabung Barat branch of the Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants Association (PHRI), along with three instructors, were present at the training.
Pokdarwis Sukorejo head Harihadi said that he hoped the training would improve the skills of pokdarwis members in serving homestay guests. He also thanked SKK Migas and PetroChina for the continued support in developing local tourism.
“We hope that our customers will always return to our Liberica Coffee Village and that it will become more popular in the future,” he said, using the ecotourism’s popular nickname.
Meanwhile, Ade said that he congratulated the pokdarwis members for their success in developing Sukorejo Ecotourism so far. He continued that he hoped the partnership between SKK Migas – PetroChina and Sukorejo Ecotourism would benefit everyone in the local community.
