PetroChina Shares Basic Needs Package to Stakeholders around Jabung Block

The last batch of donation for stakeholders took place in May 2021.

Around 100 orphans in Muara Sabak in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency, home to PetroChina’s Geragai Camp, received a package that comprised of food, muslim wear and money. “Throughout 2021, we have distributed a total of 250 packages for orphans in Tanjung Jabung Barat and 200 packages in Tanjung Jabung Timur,” Field Manager Jabung John Halim said.

Muara Sabak District Head Arie Julian Saputra said that the last batch of donation would be distributed to orphans in seven subdistricts in his administration.

Apart from distributing those packages to orphans, PetroChina also donated staple food packages to journalist’s groups in Jambi.

Fauzan Ibrahim, Act. Government & Relations Superintendent of PetroChina Jabung, said that the packages went to 100 journalists in Tanjung Jabung Timur. “The other 50 packages were given to members of Jambi Oil and Gas Journalist’s Forum.

“In the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, we hope journalists will continue reporting clear and balanced journalistic pieces in oil and gas industry in Jambi, including the ones involving PetroChina Jabung,” Fauzan said.
