The handover ceremonies took place at the PetroChina Office in Jambi city on Friday, November 6, 2020. In the occasion, SKK Migas-PetroChina Jabung handed over Covid-19 packages to Tanjung Jabung Barat (TJB) Health Agency and Tanjung Jabung Timur Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD TJT).

In the event, PetroChina Jabung was represented by Community Development Supervisor Lasno. Meanwhile, TJB Health Agency chief dr. Andi pada M.Kes., and BPBD TJT emergency and logistics division head Indra S. Gunawan received the donations.

As the Jabung Block operator, PetroChina will continue to work together with various stakeholders to maintain public health around our working areas and other parts of Indonesia.

During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, PetroChina has channeled various donations for our stakeholders. In May this year, we donated PPE to several hospitals in Tanjung Jabung Timur, Tanjung Jabung Barat and Jambi city. We also donated basic needs packages for Tanjung Jabung Timur Police, Jambi journalists, and communities living around our facilities in Betara and Geragai.

In Jakarta, we donated surgical masks to health workers fighting Covid-19. The donations were distributed through various government institutions, including SKK Migas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Ministry of Manpower.

PetroChina also supported disinfection efforts around Jabung Block and worked with the local Covid-19 Taskforce to spread mitigation information to community members.
