PetroChina’s Vice President Human Resources and Relations, Dencio Renato Boele, received the trophy from NCSR Chief Ali Darwin. As a member of Amsterdam-based Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), NCSR annually hosts the ASRRAT, which from 2005 to 2017 was known as Sustainability Reporting Award (SRA).

This year’s gold rank was a nod to PetroChina’s continuous efforts to create sustainable operations in our Jabung Block working area in Jambi and our head office in Jakarta. In our second Sustainability Report, published in 2020 for the reporting year of 2019, highlights PetroChina’s commitment in energy efficiency, human resources’ improvement, social programs, and our financial contribution for the government of Indonesia.

“The gold rank is a valuable encouragement for us. With the supports of our stakeholders, communities around our working areas and especially our employees, we try our best to achieve sustainable business that respects the environment,” said Dencio.

Five years ago, PetroChina published its first Sustainability Report and won the First Time Report Category in the SRA 2015.
