The program, held at Nurul Huda Grand Mosque in Tanjung Sari village, Bahar Selatan district, Muaro Jambi, is aimed at inoculating 1,500 locals and congregants around the mosque. Reports said that the vaccination went on smoothly with strict health protocols in place. Muaro Jambi deputy regent Bambang Bayu Suseno was among the event’ attendees.

PetroChina community development supervisor Yulian, who was at the event, said that he hoped the company’s support for vaccination programs would help the regency administration in its fight against Covid-19. “This vaccination program follows our cooperation with the military and police to hold similar programs in Tanjung Jabung Barat and Tanjung Jabung Timur,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Bambang said that he appreciated everyone who supported Covid-19 vaccination programs in Muaro Jambi. With support from PetroChina and other entities, Bambang said that the regency administration was confident that it could reach the target of inoculating 70 percent of locals needed to develop herd immunity.
