PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. has won an SKK Migas Award 2024 in the category of Assurance and Consulting Excellence. PCJL VP of Finance Jin Lihao accepted the award from SKK Migas Internal Supervisor Eko Indra Heri in an event at the Intercontinental Jakarta Pondok Indah Hotel on 10 September 2024.

The event was held as part of commemorating SKK Migas’ 22 years of managing upstream oil and gas in Indonesia. Awards were given to oil and gas companies for their important contribution in supporting the Indonesian government’s target of producing 1 million barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 12 BSCFD of gas in 2030. 

According to SKK Migas, the Assurance and Consulting Excellence (ACE) Award is given to PSCs with Internal Audit function that best implement assurance and consulting principles. The ACE Award is aimed at encouraging Internal Audit functions at PSCs to always improve their performance as an independent assurance provider and trusted advisor in boosting the company’s added value. Parameters for the ACE Award include international standards of profession, contribution to achieving IOG 4.0 targets and SKK Migas’ KPIs as well as innovations and initiatives in boosting Internal Audit functions.   

In local media reports, SKK Migas head Dwi Soetjipto said in his speech that the awards were recognition for PSCs’ dedication and hard work in supporting efforts to reach national oil and gas production targets. Dwi continued that he appreciated the PSCs for implementing breakthroughs to boost production and operational cost efficiency.
