Around 200 Trisakti students joined a virtual visit through Zoom platform on August 6 and discussed the future career at oil and gas industry.

Carrying the theme of “Experiencing and Learning beyond the Boundaries in Oil and Gas Industry”, the event invited PetroChina’s Training Superintendent and Professional Corporate Coach Yosefine Aryani and Reservoir Production Engineer Febriandy Prima Hasry. Communication Manager Ginandjar officially opened the virtual company visit.

“In this pandemic situation, we are happy to welcome the students in such event. Through this virtual visit, the knowledge sharing is still possible,” he said. Last year, PetroChina hosted three virtual visits for students. In 2021, as of August, PetroChina held six events that involved students from various cities such as Bandung, Jambi and Makassar.

Yosefine delivered “Nail the Professional Skillset in the Future” presentation for the students. “Competency is the synergy of knowledge, experiences and personal attributes,” she said. There are several things that play important role in shaping one’s future career, including technical competency, core competency, soft competency, and health competency.

Febriandy shared about Jabung Block’s strategies to maintain the good production over the years. Currently, Jabung sits in the top ten of most producing blocks for oil and gas in Indonesia.
