PetroChina welcomes Indonesian legislators in two official work visits to Jabung working area in December 2024.

On Dec. 11, House of Representatives (DPR) Commission XII members Syarif Fasha and Rocky Candra visited PetroChina’s Geragai Camp in East Tanjung Jabung regency. They were accompanied by Jambi Legislative Council (DPRD) members Fauzi Ansori, Mazlan and Erpan, as well as Jambi Province Secretariat’s assistant for economy and development Johansyah. PetroChina VP Business Support Gusminar received the group during their visit.

House of Representatives Commission XII member Cek Endra followed in a separate visit to Geragai Camp on Dec. 19, accompanied by Jambi Legislative Council deputy speaker Ivan Wirata. VP Technical and Business Development Yu Jinbao received Cek and Ivan.

PetroChina Jabung Field Manager I Wayan Suandana and Exploration Manager Hendra Niko Saputra, as well as SKK Migas Southern Sumatra Representative Office head Anggono Mahendrawan were present during the two visits, alongside other PetroChina and SKK Migas staff members.

In the two visits, the legislators were gathered at Geragai Camp’s recreational hall for management presentation, after which a discussion was held to clarify several issues on Jabung Block operations.

“It is our honor to receive the honorable legislators in our facility, as part of the good collaboration that PetroChina Jabung has nurtured with SKK Migas and the Government of Indonesia. We are always open for discussion with various stakeholders in the government’s executive and legislative branches regarding works that can be done together for the good of the national upstream oil and gas industry,” Gusminar said in his opening speech.
