PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. has retained its Gold certification for security management system of national vital objects from the National Police’s Security Maintenance Agency (Baharkam Polri).

PetroChina Jabung President Director Wang Lei received the certification from the Baharkam’s Sabhara Corps Head Insp. Gen. Mulya Hasudungan Ritonga in an event in Jakarta on 23 December 2024.

The Gold certificate was given following a National Police audit on PetroChina Jabung’s security management system in November 2024, in which the company received a score of 95.06 percent. The audit was a follow-up of the company’s security management system certification from the National Police in 2020.

Wang said that the Gold certification reflected the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen security and implement an effective and reliable security system across its operational areas.

“We are proud and grateful to achieve an outstanding score of 95.06 percent, which earns us the Gold Reward category. By aligning our security standards to those of the National Police, we ensure the safety and security of not only company facilities and assets but also the surrounding communities,” he said.

Wang continued that, moving forward, PetroChina Jabung remained committed to further enhancing the company’s security management system comprehensively. “Through ongoing collaboration, innovation and vigilance, we aim to set new benchmarks for security performance and contribute to a safer and more secure environment for all stakeholders,” he said.

Other than PetroChina Jabung, 14 companies managing national vital objects also received their security management certificates in the event. The other companies include PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam Zone 8 Regional 3 (Balikpapan), PT LRT Jakarta, PT Pupuk Kaltim (Bontang) and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara – Bojonegara Gas Station (Serang).
