PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. received the Safety Management System and HIV/AIDS Handling & Controlling awards from the Manpower Ministry on September 24, 2024. The award was presented by Jambi Manpower Agency acting head Muhammad Harir Khodari to Jabung Field Management Representative.

Previously, PetroChina won the same Safety Management System in 2017 and 2020. We also received the HIV Prevention appreciation in 2022. This year, PetroChina was among 7 companies to receive the HIV/AIDS Handling & Controlling Award, and one of 18 companies receiving the Safety Management System Award.

The Safety Management System award recognized the compliance of Government Regulation No. 50/2012 about the Implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Prior to the awarding, PetroChina went through the audit stages carried out by the certification body appointed by the Ministry of Manpower (SUCOFINDO) from October 16 to 18 2023.  PetroChina met 166 criteria requirements with an achievement of 92.77% at advanced level (Gold Flag).

As for the HIV/AIDS Handling and Prevention at Work Place Program Awards 2024, the Jambi Manpower and Transmigration Agency declared PetroChina as one of 7 companies with proper HIV/AIDS Handling and Prevention at Work Place Program Awards 2024.
