In celebration of the Ramadan fasting month, PetroChina handed basic need packages for orphans and the poor in two separate events held by the Tanjung Jabung Barat regency.

On April 13, PetroChina donated 100 basic needs packages in Purwodadi Village, Tebing Tinggi District. Afterwards, on April 16, the company donated 150 basic needs packages in Mandala Jaya Village, Betara District.

PetroChina Government & Relations Superintendent Fauzan Ibrahim attended the event on April 13, while Community Development staff members Sarbani and Marhadi represented the company in the event on April 16. Tanjung Jabung Barat Deputy Regent Hairan attended both events.

In his speech, Hairan expressed his gratitude to PetroChina for its contributions in the Ramadan events and hoped that the upcoming Idul Fitri holiday season will be safe for all.

As the operator of Jabung Block in Tanjung Jabung Barat and Tanjung Jabung Timur, PetroChina actively takes part in various social programs. Residents of Tanjung Jabung Barat have enjoyed many programs in infrastructure, economic empowerment, education, health and disaster mitigation.
