PetroChina Vice President Supply Chain Management Gusminar represented the company in the event hosted by upstream oil and gas regulatory task force SKK Migas and the Investment Ministry.

“The Jabung Block that we operate [in Jambi] has consistently produce over 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day for years. We have always been committed to involve local businesses in our work,” Gusminar said.

PetroChina currently operates the Jabung and Bangko blocks in Jambi province. The company adheres to all prevailing regulations, including SKK Migas procurement guideline PTK 007 Revision 4, in carrying out its operations.

Gusminar continued that PetroChina was actively involved in developing the capacity of the company’s vendors. “We are involved in Vendor Day organized by SKK Migas and PSCs. We also give appreciation for local vendors with good performance. This is important as we want our partners to have high spirit and continue to innovate,” he said.

Gusminar also explained collaboration opportunities for local businesses, such as in infrastructure projects.
