PetroChina joins other oil and gas contractors (KKKS) in SKK Migas’ Public Relations Workshop in Bandung, West Java, on August 4-5. During the two-day event, SKK Migas and KKKS agreed on the importance of spreading positive news about upstream oil and gas contribution for energy resilience and development in Indonesia.
On the opening day, SKK Migas chairman Dwi Soetjipto said that the ambitious target of producing 1 million BOPD and 12 BSCFD in 2030 was very hard to achieve. Therefore, SKK Migas and KKKS need the support from as many people as possible.
“The 1 million BOPD production means so much to secure the energy supply in Indonesia. We can only achieve the target if we work hard and get the supports from everyone, including members of society,” Dwi said. “SKK Migas and KKKS need to intensify the publication of good news so more people know about our vital role and positive contributions for the society.”
During the workshop, SKK Migas presented various communication programs in 2023. SKK Migas also invited several prominent speakers to discuss important topics such as politics, media landscape and media strategies.
