PetroChina Jabung attended East Tanjung Jabung Regency's 25th anniversary commemoration that was held at the regency’s legislative council building on Monday, Oct. 21. At the event, PCJL handed over several CSR programs to the regency administration, namely two concrete road infrastructure projects at Pandan Jaya to Pandan Lagan and Blok D to Mendahara; scholarships for high-achieving and poor students at elementary school, junior high school and high school levels; as well as training for local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). 

The programs were handed over by PetroChina Jabung Field Manager I Wayan Suandana to East Tanjung Jabung deputy regent Robby Nahliyansyah. PetroChina Jabung Communication Manager Afdal, SKK Migas Southern Sumatra Representative Office formality and communication senior analyst Darwensi, Jambi acting governor Sudirman and East Tanjung Jabung Legislative Council speaker Zilawati also attended the event. 

In the occasion, PetroChina Jabung also receives an award from the regency administration for the company’s active participation in corporate social responsibility (CSR) management.

I Wayan said that the CSR programs handed over at the event were aimed at improving people’s welfare. “We wish East Tanjung Jabung regency a happy 25th birthday. May the region achieve progress and the people be more prosperous. We hope that the good collaboration between PetroChina and the regency government will continue. If our operations at Jabung is smooth, surely we can contribute more for the regency,” he said.
