PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. hosted the two-day Pre-Indonesian Oil and Gas (IOG) Supply Chain Management (SCM) Summit 2024 in Batam, Riau Islands, on July 3-4. Upstream oil and gas regulator SKK Migas teamed up with Production Sharing Contractors (PSCs), including PetroChina, organized two pre-summit events ahead of SCM Summit 2024 scheduled in August.

President Director PetroChina Qian Mingyang attended the pre-summit event in Batam, which was officially opened by SKK Migas Chairman Dwi Soetjipto. SKK Migas Deputy Chairwoman Shinta Damayanti and SKK Migas Deputy for Business Support Rudi Satwiko also joined the two-day gathering.

The pre-SCM Summit in Batam emphasized the importance of collaboration and market intelligence in facing upstream oil and gas industry challenges such as price fluctuation, regulatory changes and market uncertainty. By integrating solid collaboration and market data, SCM can identify the risks and opportunities, as well as improving the supply chain management efficiently.

The SCM Summit 2024 will take place from August 14 to 16 in Jakarta Convention Center. The event is expected to attract more than 5,000 visitors, mainly from SCM practitioners and government officials.
