PetroChina is proud to participate in the 2022 Indonesia Human Resources Summit (IHRS), held at the Bali International Convention Center on June 28-29. The event, co-hosted by SKK Migas, Pertamina Hulu Mahakam, RH Petrogas and Premier Oil, was promoted as the most prestigious annual conference on human resources for top executives and HR professionals in ASEAN.

In the summit’s first day, SKK Migas Head Dwi Soetjipto visited PetroChina’s booth and was received by PetroChina’s Vice President HR & Relations Dencio Renato Boele. Meanwhile, on the second day, Elvin Tobing and Yosefine Aryani from HR Department gave a presentation on “PetroChina’s Transformational Leadership Actions: Ensuring Leaders’ Involvement in Developing People”.

Dencio said that he was glad IHRS was held again this year after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. “It is good to be back here. This event is a great medium to keep us updated with the latest trends and best practices in human resources. Through this event, we hope to be able to share knowledge with other companies on innovative ways to improve the capacity of our employees,” he said.

With the theme of “Post-Recovery Leap: Championing Resilient Workforce to Accelerate Digital Transformation & Business Sustainability”, this year’s IHRS is the event’s 12th iteration since its inception in 2009. It featured 50 exhibitors and 30 speakers over 20 concurrent sessions. Summit data shows that around 1,300 HR professionals from various industries attended the hybrid event.
