PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. was among a number of production sharing contractors from all across Indonesia invited to join SKK Migas’ media gathering in Bandung, West Java, on Oct. 3-5. During the event, PetroChina had the opportunity to meet with over 60 representatives of national news outlets, comprising print, online and television.

A focus group discussion (FGD) was held on the first day, featuring SKK Migas program and communication division acting head Mohammad Kemal, SKK Migas chief’s expert staff Ngatijan, Medco Energi corporate responsibility & risk management senior manager Firman Dharmawan and Energy Watch executive director Mamit Setiawan as speakers.

PetroChina communication manager Ginandjar and Pertamina Hulu Energi senior manager external communication & stakeholder relations Hermansyah Y Nasroen moderated discussion sessions.

SKK Migas Secretary Taslim Z Yunus opened the FGD, while West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, who also chairs the Association of Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Producing Regions (ADPMET), gave the keynote speech.

A media appreciation event was also held as part of the gathering, with journalists from Bisnis Indonesia, Kontan, Republika, Antara, Ruang Energi and Dunia Energi receiving awards from SKK Migas.
