After more than two years of online celebration due to Covid-19 pandemic, PetroChina employees in Jakarta Office celebrated Easter gathering on April 15, 2023. The celebration brought the theme of “Hope, Renewal, New Life" and was attended by employees and their family members.

In the opening speech, Vice President HR and Relations Dencio Renato Boele said that the theme reflected the new normal situation after years of pandemic. “The real gathering means so much because we must do it online in the last few years,” he said. “It is very precious to have gathering with our friends and family members in good health”.

Priest Riza Solihin was invited to give sermon about hope in the new life in the gathering that attended by dozens of PetroChina employees and their family members.

The theme of new life was also important as PetroChina officially began the contract extension period of Jabung Block from 2023 to 2043 in this February. “PetroChina’s new life in this contract extension period is filled with good wishes and optimism. We vow to contribute more for the development of oil and gas industry in Indonesia,” Dencio added.

Dencio reminded all employees that safety commitment came first in Jabung’s daily operation. “Let us do our best in running Jabung with utmost care for health and safety and protect each other,” he said.
