PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. (PCJL) on Oct. 3, 2023, signed the cooperation agreement related to employees’ medical services with 12 hospitals in Jambi.  

The signing ceremony with RSUD Ahmad Ripin, RS Arafah, RS Baiturrahim, RS Bhayangkara Jambi, RS dr. Bratanata, RSUD KH Daud Arif, RS Mitra, RSUD Nurdin Hamzah, RSUD Raden Mattaher, RS Rapha Theresia, RS St. Theresia and RS Siloam Jambi was witnessed by Jambi Deputy Governor Abdullah Sani and Spokesman of SKK Migas Sumbagsel Office Safe’i.

HSSE Dept. Manager Alvin Reginald said that PCJL, as the operator of Jabung Working Area in Jambi, needed full support from all stakeholders, including medical institutions. “Ensuring the health and safety of our employees is our company’s value. We welcome the cooperation of PCJL and 12 hospitals in Jambi,” Alvin said. “Through this cooperation, PCJL hopes that the medical services for Jabung employees, including outpatient and inpatient treatments, annual medical checkups and emergency cases will run smooth without administration hurdle.”

The fast medical treatment, also known as the golden period in emergency cases, is among the main focuses in the cooperation agreement with the hospitals. “The thorough medical service is not only related to the treatment itself, but also the medical confidential information of the patient,” Alvin added.

This cooperation is also important for PCJL to increase the good relationships with medical services institutions around Jabung. “As we know, the successful operation in Jabung also contributes to the successful development in Jambi. So we all must support the creation of safe and smooth upstream oil and gas operation,” he said.
