PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. celebrated the graduation of four recipients of its scholarship program during the 55th Applied Bachelor's Graduation Ceremony of Energy and Mineral Polytechnic (PEM Akamigas) on July 18, 2026, reaffirming the company's commitment to developing future talent for Indonesia's energy sector.

Representing PetroChina, Vice President Business Support Alfiani and Communication Manager Afdal attended the ceremony to congratulate the graduates and show the company's continued support for vocational education.

The four scholarship recipients were M. Bagas Sultan Abighail (Refinery Mechanical Engineering, GPA 3.61), Tito Antonio Jr. (Refinery Mechanical Engineering, GPA 3.60), Nada Aqilah Izzatinnisa (Refinery Instrumentation Engineering, GPA 3.62), and M. Daffa Raswiansyah (Oil and Gas Logistics, GPA 3.56).

"This second phase of the PEM Akamigas scholarship program further reflects PetroChina's commitment to developing the potential of communities around the Jabung Working Area. Through this initiative, we aim to provide greater access to higher education for talented young people so they can grow and compete at the national, or even international level," said Alfiani.

The graduates are part of the second phase of PetroChina's scholarship program at PEM Akamigas, which supported four students from West Tanjung Jabung throughout their four-year studies. With a total investment of approximately IDR 1.86 billion, the scholarship covered tuition and accommodation costs for eight semesters. In the first batch, from 2019 to 2023, PetroChina supported nine students from West Tanjung Jabung to complete their education at PEM Akamigas Cepu.

Through its scholarship program, PetroChina continues to expand access to vocational education while helping prepare skilled professionals to support the future of Indonesia's energy industry.
