PetroChina supported the Nutrition Cadre Training in Tanjung Jabung Timur from November 7 to 9, 2022, as part of the government’s stunting reduction program.

The event followed previous stunting reduction programs, all supported by PetroChina, as efforts to improve the community’s health and knowledge about nutrition.

PetroChina’s Community Development team members attended the event as a show of support.

The training was attended by government-appointed nutrition cadre and volunteers, who are frontliners in campaigning the importance of healthy diet for the community members. The frontliners usually spread the valuable information on stunting, which mostly caused by malnutrition, through informal gatherings or social events around the neighborhoods.

In the light of Covid-19 pandemic, creating healthy and strong community start from healthy diet and balanced nutrition, as well as the implementation of strict health protocols such as sanitation.
