PetroChina Jabung celebrates Indonesia’s 80th Anniversary through various events in its operational facilities on August 17, 2025.

On Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) Ship 115 at Berhala Strait off the shores of Jambi Province, an Independence Day flag-raising ceremony was held with SKK Migas Southern Sumatra Representative Office Head Yunianto serving as inspector of ceremony. SKK Migas Southern Sumatra Representative Office’s Operation Department Head Bambang Dwi Djanuarto and PetroChina Jabung Field Manager Arif Hari Suseno also attended the ceremony, alongside PetroChina Jabung employees and FSO Ship 115 crew members.

A flag-raising ceremony was also held on Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) Ship 112, located not far from Ship 115, attended by on-duty PetroChina Jabung employees and ship crew members.

Onshore, hundreds of PetroChina Jabung employees attended a flag-raising ceremony at Geragai Camp in Geragai District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency. Field Manager I Wayan Suandana led the ceremony. In the occasion, I Wayan reaffirmed the company’s commitment against all forms of corruption. Some employees wore colorful Indonesian traditional clothes to celebrate the anniversary.

“Today, as we commemorate the 80th anniversary of Indonesia’s independence, we reaffirmed this commitment. True freedom is achieved when we free ourselves from corruption and bribery,” Wayan said.
