PetroChina International Jabung Ltd (PCJL) has successfully obtained ISO 9001 certification and renewed its ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to operational excellence and safety.
The three ISOs are the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), respectively.
The certifications were issued by NQA, a globally recognized certification body, following a rigorous two-stage audit process. Stage 1, conducted on 21 August 2025, focused on documentation completeness, while Stage 2, held on 22-25 September 2025, involved field observations and verification.
What sets this achievement apart is PCJL’s strategic integration of the three standards into a unified framework called PRIME (PetroChina Requirement for Operational HSSE Execution). Initiated in August 2024, the integration process involved cross-departmental collaboration, including ISO Representatives and a comprehensive gap analysis.
PRIME reflects PCJL’s proactive approach to embedding quality, environmental stewardship, and occupational health and safety into its core operations—reinforcing its position as a responsible energy operator in Indonesia.
