PetroChina Christian Community (Bakor Umkris) held a virtual Easter celebration on Friday, April 22, with over 40 Jakarta employees joining in the event via Zoom. Pastor Melani Prasetyo gave a sermon themed “Do Not Fear”.

“There are various fears in our lives. Today, I wish to talk about three points: do not fear death, do not fear the devil and do not fear losing safety,” Melani said.

She explained that belief in God would help us overcome these fears. “Nothing can separate us from Christ’s compassion, not even death,” she said, adding that the devil is too small an opponent for God and that we will ultimately be saved because our God is great.

The event also featured the Voice of Soul (VOS) Choir and employees sang hymns led by musical artist Natio Sabrina.
